Welcome to the PAWS Adoption Center web site. PAWS Adoption Center is a private, no-kill, non-profit animal shelter located in Middletown, Ohio, and is dedicated to providing care and shelter for unwanted dogs and cats and placing them in loving homes. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pets by promoting adoption, spay/neuter, education and responsible pet ownership. We house approximately 80 dogs and cats looking for permanent, loving homes. PAWS is conveniently located off the I-75 corridor and has served Middletown and surrounding communities for over 32 years. **Test Drive participant (18 or older with a valid drivers license) will be given the opportunity to “test drive” a Ford vehicle and Ford will make a donation to PAWS (no purchase/obligation)

Sunday, May 19 – Whiskers and Wags Adoptathon at the Cincinnati Zoo!
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. the first annual Whiskers and Wags Adoptathon, sponsored by Petco, will be held at the Cincinnati Zoo, Vine Street and Erkenbrecher Avenue parking lot, adjacent to the Cincinnati Zoo entrance.
PAWS will be there along with other area shelters and rescues, to help our wonderful animals find their forever homes. The event is free to the public and will not include zoo admission.

PAWS Garage Sale announced!
PAWS and Middletown Dog Training Center are teaming up to have a Garage Sale on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 9:00 to 2:00 at Middletown Dog Training Center located at 1811 Germantown Road in Middletown, Ohio. All proceeds of the sale will benefit both organizations.
More details to come, however, keep us in mind when you start your spring cleaning. We will be accepting donations for the sale. Donations can be dropped off at PAWS during the open hours and also the week prior to the sale at Middletown Dog Training Center during the evening starting on July 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 and all day Friday, July 12 from 9:00 to 5:00.

(Please note – if you have already signed up for this program, it ends April 30, 2013, and you need to reapply for the new Kroger Community Rewards Program which begins May 1, 2013, and ends April 30, 2014.)
With your Kroger Plus Card you can have Kroger donate a percentage of your qualified purchase to PAWS!
This is what you do:
1) If you do not have a Kroger Plus Card, you may obtain one by filling out an application at the service desk. They will provide you with a card at that time.
2) Visit www.kroger.com and type in “manage community rewards” in the search box.
3) Designate the Progressive Animal Welfare Society Adoption Center or use number 83130 as your choice of non-profit to receive rewards.
4) Your receipts after you shop will name PAWS as your preferred non-profit at the bottom of the receipt.
5) Kroger will send PAWS a check every quarter just because you chose PAWS as your preferred non-profit organization!
