Keep your dog indoors during fireworks.
Confine them to a quiet room or provide access to a closet, bed, bathroom, or other safe place with plenty of artificial light to mask the flashes from fireworks.
Playing music or turning on the TV can help to drown out the fireworks.
Offer them a favorite treat, such as a peanut butter stuffed toy.
Playing games or exercising can also help distract them from the noise.
Should your dog get out, have clear, up to date photos of your pet.
