Saving lives through fostering

Pet Care Preparedness

Every year PAWS Adoption Center and other rescues and shelters across the U.S. are flooded with pregnant cats and an explosion of kittens. “Kitten season” as it is called, generally runs from April to October, and in 2020 this coincided with the height of the pandemic. Although PAWS was closed to the public for a stretch of this year’s kitten season, our wonderful staff still worked hard to bring in and help kittens and their mamas.

PAWS staff utilized our social media accounts, connections with friends and other rescues to find fosters for our pregnant mamas and young kittens. Mothers and kittens can stay with their foster for months as we give them time to grow and learn as they interact with their fosters. We would like to take this time to say thank you and to share a few images of our most recent litters of kittens. We could not have helped these wonderful, playful, adorable kittens and their mothers without the support of our staff and our fosters.

If you are interested in fostering a future litter or adopting one of our kittens or cats, please contact us or call PAWS (513-539-7297) to schedule an appointment.
